The Houston Astros made the playoffs for the eighth straight season after winning the American League West.
Although the Astros made the postseason again, their streak of seven consecutive American League Championship Series appearances came to an end after a wild-card loss to the Detroit Tigers.
The offseason has seen the Astros part with outfielder Kyle Tucker when he was traded to the Chicago Cubs.
After losing Tucker, the Astros also could lose third baseman Alex Bregman as a free agent.
FOX Sports: MLB recently posted a first look at the Astros’ potential lineup for 2025.

The lineup reflects the Astros reaching a deal to sign first baseman Christian Walker from the Arizona Diamondbacks.
In 2024, Walker played 130 games and batted .251 with 26 home runs, 84 RBIs and a .803 OPS.
The other new face in the lineup is third baseman Isaac Paredes, who was acquired in the Tucker trade with the Cubs and could potentially take over Bregman’s spot at third base.
Some fans thought this proposed lineup looks good and the Astros will continue to be a competitive team, while others believe the outfield needs some help.
The Astros will attempt to win a fifth straight division title in 2025 and their eighth in the past nine seasons.
