The Los Angeles Dodgers won their eighth World Series title in franchise history after finishing with a record of 98-64 and winning the National League West for the third straight year.
After winning the championship in 2024, the Dodgers came into the offseason and remained aggressive as they added some key pitchers for the 2025 season.
The Dodgers acquired starting pitcher Blake Snell from the San Francisco Giants, starting pitcher Roki Sasaki from Japan, and relief pitcher Tanner Scott from the San Diego Padres.
While the Dodgers roster looks stacked on paper, Dodgers GM Brandon Gomes hints that the team could make more moves before the start of the 2025 season.
“You never say never, and we’ll continue to be optimistic at looking at places on how to round out the roster,” Gomes said via MLB Analyst Jon Heyman’s personal ‘X’ account.

Although the Dodgers have eight World Series titles in the team’s history, they have never won back-to-back championships before.
2025 may be the best chance they’ve had yet to win back-to-back titles as the Dodgers lineup looks solid from top to bottom.
If the Dodgers can avoid injuries and stay healthy in 2025, it is hard to see a team knocking them off in the postseason.
The Dodgers’ dominance in recent years can be proven by their 11 NL West titles in the last 12 years, along with two World Series titles in the last five years.
It will be interesting to see if any other team can compete with this Dodgers lineup in 2025 as they attempt to defend their title.
