The New York Yankees got back into the postseason in 2024 after finishing with a record of 94-68 and winning the American League East.
After a postseason run to their first World Series appearance since winning the title in 2009, the Yankees fell to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Although the Yankees could not finish the job, they have added some key pieces this offseason to try and make another run at a title in 2025.
Along with their acquisitions this offseason, the Yankees will have the reigning American League Most Valuable Player Aaron Judge to lead the way next season.
Judge had a message for Yankees fans after winning the AL MVP award.
“To the fans, your energy and passion fuel me every day. Your support drives me to be the best version of myself, and it’s a privilege to be representing the greatest city in the world,” Judge said via Foul Territory on ‘X.’
“I’m truly grateful and will cherish this moment forever.”

Judge won his second AL MVP award in the last three seasons in 2024 including career highs in RBIs, walks, and OPS.
In 2024, Judge played in 158 games where he held a .322 batting average, 10.8 WAR, 58 home runs, 144 RBIs, and a 1.159 OPS.
Judge continued to dominate the regular season, but again he appeared to fall apart in the postseason.
In 14 games played in the playoffs, Judge batted .184 with three home runs, nine RBIs, and a .752 OPS.
With star outfielder Juan Soto leaving to join the New York Mets, Judge will have to perform in the postseason if the Yankees want to win a World Series title in 2025.
