The New York Yankees not only lost the World Series to the Los Angeles Dodgers, but they also lost one of their best players this offseason.
Superstar outfielder Juan Soto was the top free agent before signing a deal with the New York Mets worth $765 million over 15 years.
Although the Yankees were unable to bring back Soto, they did not hesitate to make other moves following his decision to play elsewhere.
The Yankees recently acquired relief pitcher Devin Williams in a trade with the Milwaukee Brewers, and stats show how he has dominated during his brief career.

The Yankees experienced problems at closer last season as Clay Holmes began to struggle and was replaced by Luke Weaver. Williams could take over that role in 2025.
With the Brewers last season, Williams appeared in 22 games and had a 1.25 ERA with 14 saves, 38 strikeouts in 21.2 innings.
The Yankees are getting one of the best relievers in baseball to hopefully lock down games.
After losing Soto, it will be interesting to see how aggressive the Yankees are for the remainder of the offseason.
They will try to win back-to-back AL East titles for the first time since the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
