The Milwaukee Brewers lost in the wild-card series for the second straight season after finishing with a record of 93-69.
Although the Brewers won their second straight National League Central title, and their third in the last four seasons, they failed to make a long postseason run.
After failing to make the National League Championship Series in their last five playoff appearances, the Brewers could make some moves this offseason.
MLB Insider Ken Rosenthal revealed that Brewers relief pitcher Devin Williams is on the trade block with multiple teams interested in him.
“We reported last night upward of ten teams interested in him,” Rosenthal said via Foul Territory on ‘X.’

Williams came into the league in 2019 with the Brewers and has played all six years of his MLB career with the organization.
An injury-shortened 2024 season for Williams still resulted in dominant numbers in the games he played.
In 2024, Williams appeared in 22 games and held a record of 1-0 with a 1.25 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 21.2 innings pitched.
Although he was dominant throughout the regular season, Williams struggled mightily in the postseason as he appeared in two games and held a 21.60 ERA with 1 strikeout in 1.2 innings pitched.
Rosenthal mentions that the reason so many teams are interested in Williams is because he won’t cost that much.
Many of the small market teams are interested in Williams for this reason, and it will be interesting to see what happens with him this offseason.
The Brewers will attempt to win their third division title in a row as they try to make a longer playoff run in 2025.
