The Chicago White Sox are coming off one of the worst seasons in Major League Baseball history after finishing with a record of 41-121.
Though some people would think such a bad season would make a team want to add talent in the offseason, the White Sox are doing the opposite thus far.
After dealing starting pitcher Garrett Crochet to the Boston Red Sox, the White Sox could potentially be willing to trade another All-Star player.
“After trading one All Star, Garrett Crochet, White Sox [general manager] Chris Getz may now do it again, this time with Luis Robert Jr.,” MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM wrote on X.

Getz revealed that there is a lot of interest in the 27-year-old outfielder.
Robert debuted in 2020 with the White Sox and has played all five seasons of his MLB career with them.
After battling injuries early in the 2024 season, Robert was one of the lone bright spots for the White Sox.
He played 100 games and batted .224 with 14 home runs, 35 RBIs, 23 stolen bases and a .657 OPS.
Getz said he believes that the 2024 results from Robert are his floor and as bad a season you’ll see out of him.
He was coming off of his best season when he played 145 games and batted .264 with 38 home runs, 80 RBIs and an .857 OPS.
Getz mentions the need to be careful trading Robert as he is a five-tool player who is just as valuable in the field as he is at the plate.
It will be interesting to see if the White Sox part ways with another one of their best players and opt for a complete rebuild in 2025.
