Fans React To Yankees’ Decision On Aaron Boone

The New York Yankees came close to the 28th World Series championship in franchise history but ended up losing to the Los Angeles Dodgers in five games.

Although they couldn’t pull off the title, the Yankees appeared in their first World Series since 2009.

As they look ahead to the 2025 season, there may have been some questions about who would be managing the team.

However, the Yankees recently announced that Aaron Boone will return next season, via YES Network.

Some Yankees fans expressed their opinions on the news via social media.

Not what fans expected,.

I miss the days when this organization wasn’t stupid..

Joe Girardi would have been fired

Ok,2025 won’t be the year either.

These fans do not agree with the decision to bring Boone back.

He has managed the Yankees since 2018, and 2024 was the first year he led his team to an AL pennant.

The Yankees haven’t won a World Series title with Boone as their manager, and they hadn’t even appeared in one until this season.

With a Yankees organization and fan base that is used to championships, the extended stretch of not winning a World Series seems to be wearing on fans.

The roster annually appears to have more than enough talent to win a title, so fans may be seeking somebody to blame, and that person appears to be Boone.

With Juan Soto a free agent this offseason, the Yankees lineup in 2025 could potentially look very different than it did in 2024.

Now that Boone will be returning, it appears he will need to earn the fan’s trust as he tries to get the Yankees back to the World Series.
