Shohei Ohtani completed an incredible first season with the Los Angeles Dodgers by winning the World Series title.
However, the likely winner of the National League MVP award struggled a bit against the New York Yankees.
In the five games of the World Series, Ohtani had two hits in 19 at-bats with one double, two runs scored, two walks and five strikeouts.
The Dodgers were still able to take the series and celebrated their victory with a parade in Los Angeles.
The superstar brought a famous friend to accompany him during the celebration.
“Shohei Ohtani brought his dog Decoy to the Dodgers World Series parade,” The Athletic wrote on X.

Decoy is most known for the ceremonial first pitch that he participated in at Dodger Stadium during the regular season.
The pet continued his connection to the Dodgers as Ohtani brought him along to the parade to see the fans.
It caps off a perfect ending to Ohtani’s first season with the Dodgers after signing a 10-year contract last offseason.
The DH batted .310 with 54 home runs, 130 runs batted in, 59 stolen bases, 134 runs scored and a 1.036 OPS.
The Dodgers will look to defend their World Series title next season and win back-to-back championships for the first time in franchise history.
Ohtani and Decoy will likely enjoy their time off until spring training, when all eyes will be on the slugger to see if he will return to pitching in 2025.
