The World Series is underway as the New York Yankees trail the Los Angeles Dodgers two games to zero ahead of game three.
Game three will see the series move to New York after playing the first two games at Dodger Stadium.
The Yankees find themselves in a tough spot as game three appears to be a must-win game for them to get back into the series.
Ahead of their first home game of the World Series, one Yankee legend will be honored before the game gets going.
According to FOX Sports: MLB on ‘X,’ former Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter will throw out the ceremonial first pitch ahead of game three.

Jeter, otherwise known as The Captain, played all 20 seasons of his Major League Baseball career for the Yankees before retiring after the 2014 season.
His career stats include 3465 hits, 260 home runs, 1311 runs batted in, and a .817 on-base plus slugging percentage.
Jeter won five World Series titles with the Yankees in 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2009.
The Yankees will look to get their offense going in game three as they have only managed to score five total runs in the first two games of the series.
Walker Buehler will take the mound for the Dodgers to take on Clarke Schmidt of the Yankees.
The Yankees need a win to avoid going down three games to zero and forcing themselves to win four straight games in order to win the World Series title.
A switch to playing in front of their home fans just might be the spark that the Yankees need to get things going in the series.
