Major League Baseball analyst Xavier Scruggs revealed his thoughts on the biggest issue the Yankees are facing in the World Series.
“We know Aaron Judge is capable of breaking out, that’s not the issue. The issue is does he even have the time to do so?” Scruggs said.
Judge has struggled through the first two games of the series as he has one hit in nine at-bats with zero walks and six strikeouts.
Scruggs appears to believe that the Yankees needed to win one of the two games at Dodger Stadium to give Judge time to figure it out at the plate.
The Yankees will need a win in game three to avoid going down three games to zero in the series and being on the brink of elimination.
Scruggs points out that Judge is behind on fastballs and flailing at the off-speed pitches.
In his opinion, Judge will need to pick either the fastball or the off-speed pitches and lay off the other.
Judge will look to get things on track as he will face Walker Buehler for the Dodgers in game three.
