The Baltimore Orioles are ripe with talent all over the field, and their depth is a huge reason why they are off to a 43-22 start and have only one 3-game losing streak all season so far.

This squad’s balance is unmatched, and one analyst posted a handful of stats that show how this team simply might not have any weaknesses at the moment.

Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun posted that the team is currently first in the league in runs per game (5.17), second in fielding percentage (.988), third in rotation ERA (3.06), and fourth in bullpen ERA (3.29), which is quite the accomplishment.

The Orioles rank:

1st in MLB in runs per game (5.17)2nd in MLB in fielding percentage (.988)3rd in MLB in rotation ERA (3.06)4th in MLB in bullpen ERA (3.29)

A complete team.

This team is firing on all cylinders and has room to grow given how young the roster is, and perhaps most importantly, Baltimore has been arguably the league’s healthiest team.

The lineup features eight players who have played at least 52 games so far, seven of which have played at least 59 out of the team’s 65 games overall, while Corbin Burnes, Grayson Rodriguez, Cole Irvin, and Dean Kremer have been consistent in leading the rotation.

Baltimore also leads the majors in home runs and is 11th in steals, making it difficult to find any room for this team to improve.

One area that could use some work is plate discipline, as this team is 28th in the league in walks with just 176 so far, which isn’t surprising given how young the lineup is.

To get it done in October, this team will have to develop a little more patience at the dish, but that’s simply nitpicking.

The Orioles are loaded.
