The Minnesota Twins finally released their City Connect uniforms.
Well, in reality, they are more like the “State Connect” unis because they represent a full state as opposed to a single city.
Minnesota, known as the “Land of 10,000 Lakes,” is famous for the high number of lakes and rivers.
Water, therefore, is a big theme in the Twins’ uniforms designed by Nike and introduced on Monday.
The bright, vibrant blue covers the players almost from top to bottom: it’s in the hat, the jersey, and the pants, and it’s easy to see why.
“We represent the Land of 10,000 Lakes,” the Twins posted on Twitter with a picture of the star players wearing the cool new unis.

The Nike logo, the star above the “MN” letters in the jersey, and a part of the hats are yellow.
This, according to the Twins’ official site, was intended “to evoke the feeling of the sun shining across a lake on a day at the cabin.”
Minnesota will show off its new uniforms this upcoming Friday for the first time.
The team is also expected to use these at least 10 more times until the end of the regular season, mostly on Fridays at home.
Minnesota, the AL Central champs in 2023, lost key pieces for this season and have been closer to average in 2024, with a 34-31 record.
They are 8.5 games behind the division-leading Cleveland Guardians as of Monday afternoon.
They hope the new City Connect uniform gives them winning vibes, because they need them to keep getting closer to playoff position.
