More than any other sport, part of the baseball experience is sampling the wide array of food at major league ballparks.
After all, who hasn’t enjoyed a mouth-watering hot dog and ice-cold soda while taking in their favorite team under the hot summer sun?
Of course, there is always a push to try something different, to present new fare to the paying public that will have them buzzing to their friends about what they enjoyed at the stadium.
And the Colorado Rockies have a new dish that will certainly raise eyebrows.
At first glance, the culinary delight looks like a rather ordinary serving of spaghetti and meatballs.
However, MLB reported that it actually is anything but.
The spaghetti noodles are in reality ice cream that has been sifted and swirled to look like traditional Italian pasta.
The Rockies have a new ballpark food item of spaghetti and meatballs … except it’s actually ice cream and donuts 😭
Introducing “Polar Pasta”: vanilla ice cream with donut holes, strawberry syrup and mint

As for the meatballs, they are donuts.
The unique combination is topped off with strawberry syrup instead of marinara.
This confection is called “Polar Pasta,” and it will undoubtedly raise many eyebrows at Coors Field this summer.
Just about everyone loves ice cream, and donuts are not far behind, so the combination is hardly unfathomable.
But the Rockies invented a new way to present them in an eye-catching rendition of a dinnertime favorite that all will recognize.
Some fans will doubtlessly be transfixed by this unique offering, and if it gets them talking and makes them want to visit the ballpark again, then all the inventiveness will have been worth it.
